ATE set for cleaning hubs 3 for large wheel hubs is an excellent tool for quick, easy, and cost-effective cleaning of large hubs (e.g., transport vehicles or some BMW models) before mounting brake discs. The hub surface on which the disc is mounted must be metallically clean to ensure the disc adheres properly. Only this guarantees the maintenance of assembly tolerances and prevents lateral runout of the discs. The ATE hub cleaning set consists of a plate mounted in a drill, to which a cleaning disc is attached using an adhesive. The hole in the central part of the disc ensures excellent guidance and prevents the disc from slipping off the hub. The hub cleaning time does not exceed 10 seconds. Number of uses of one cleaning disc: approx. 400 wheel hubs. Advantages: very fast cleaning of wheel hub surfaces, reliable and simple application.
