HSS 50 mm Peripheral Cutters

• A 100% increase in speed and savings has been achieved thanks to the following factors. Firstly, the method of cutting with a peripheral cutter involves cutting the material at the edge of the hole, whereas a twist drill must cut the full diameter of the hole. Secondly, thanks to two sharp angles on each cutting edge, it is possible to achieve higher feed rates and lower milling resistance.
• A 30% increase in efficiency – because the peripheral cutter cuts the material only at the edge of the hole. Less motor energy and drive power are required. The larger the drill diameter, the greater the energy savings.
• Longer lifespan – Peripheral cutters perform less work when cutting edges than a twist drill, allowing them to drill more holes from one sharpening to the next. A 6 mm thick body and special tooth geometry provide high stability and minimize the risk of breakage due to overload.
