The LUK diagnostic tool kit for measuring the efficiency of dual-mass flywheels allows you to check their condition without the need for disassembly. The inspection method involves measuring the angles and freedom of movement between the primary and secondary wheels until the arc spring of the assembly is loaded. The data obtained in this way is then compared with the reference table for the given dual-mass flywheel.

Verification of efficiency combined with visual inspection allows for an informed decision regarding the replacement of a faulty component. This is particularly important when replacing the clutch, as a failure of the dual-mass flywheel can damage the newly installed assembly. A detailed procedure for verification is included in the kit.
